I tried finding this program recently and found it's no longer available and was sold to another company. I did find a trial download and played with it a bit and liked how it works (especially the digital simulation aspect). So my question is: What other programs work similar to Circuitmaker 2000 that don't cost a fortune to buy (like something from Altium, who bought Circuitmaker out) or is overkill for what I'd use it for?

I'd happily pay a couple hundred for a good program to design schematics and run simulations. OR, if someone has a copy of CM2000 they don't use I'd glady buy it from you.

Installation commences by downloading the required set of install files. Once the download of files is complete, they will be installed, again with progress displayed in the Installer. After the download is complete, the software is then installed. Installation Complete When the installation itself completes, you have reached the end of the Installer wizard. That's it, installation is complete! To exit the Installer and launch CircuitMaker, simply click RUN CIRCUITMAKER.

To exit without launching the software, click FINISH. You have installed CircuitMaker on your computer, and initially tailored its functionality to suit your design needs. Logging into the Software Since CircuitMaker is a solution built for community-based design, you will need to be signed-in to the CircuitMaker Community to use the software. When you first launch the software, you will be presented with the community's Login page.

Enter your CircuitMaker account credentials into the applicable fields and click the SIGN IN button. These are the same credentials you just used during the installation process - your email address supplied when registering, and the temporary password that was supplied to you. You'll need to login to the CircuitMaker Community in order to use the software.
